A story that started in his childhood through a passion that was born when Koji started going fishing with his father and culminated with the success story as a Chef who dominates the main ingredient of the Japanese cuisine so well that he has based his work in the ability to choose the best cuts, turning the pleasure of tasting sushi and sashimi into a unique experience. Chef Koji Yokomizo has opened his third restaurant – this time in the Santos neighbourhood in Lisbon, with the renowned Chef Shinya Koike in charge of the kitchen.
In the 90’s Koji lived in Japan where he work in the Katsuragawa restaurant in the province Mie. His curriculum counts as well with the experiences in such restaurants as Shundi & Tomodachi, Hanadoki and Mitsuyoshi in São Paulo. In 2012 he opened his first restaurant in São Paulo, in the Morumbi stadium, with a view of the football field. From then on his great advantage of careful choice of the best and freshest ingredients turned his restaurant into a mandatory stop for all the Japanese food lovers in São Paulo.
